Visual & Performing Arts (VAPA) at TVUSD serves all students. Each elementary school student is exposed to three separate six-week rotations for the following pathways: visual arts, dance, music, and theater and can benefit from a dedicated multi-use space to house these programs. VAPA experience instruction within elementary schools occurs every week, for a 45 minute class. Middle school students can take choral and/or instrumental music classes, as well as theater classes. Middle school students also continue to take visual art classes. In high school, students can continue all VAPA pathways, and study dance. Additionally, visual arts courses at the high school level also include studio art, ceramics, and art history at select schools.
